M2+MK landed by accident at RAF Chivenor in November 1941, after an abortive anti shipping mission in the Irish sea. This aircraft was later borrowed by Noel Coward for his film In Which we Serve.

1967's Torrey Canyon oil spill is still the UK's greatest. Hawker Hunters from RAF Chivenor, were fitted with training rockets in an attempt to set the oil alight. Things did not go well.

This aircraft appeared as a static display item at the 1969 Air Day.

Academy 1/72nd Ju87G


Obtained and prepared for the 1969 movie Battle of Britain. This Stuka was never used due to air worthyness issues. It appeared as a static display aircraft at RAF Chivenor's Air Day in 1970.
