Dornier Do 215B-5

Built by Barry Smith this 1:48 scale Dornier Do 215B-5 shows excellent modulation of the otherwise flat black night-fighter camouflage scheme.

1:200 Aircraft

These tiny models are the work of John Blackett. How he created these miniature masterpieces are created I have no idea. The aircraft featured are the Percival 'Mew Gull' of Alex Henshaw, Dornier Do -17, Spitfire Mk I and a de Havilland Vampire.

English Electric Lightnings

Unusually modelled in 1:144 scale by David Campbell the level of detail on these Lightnings is incredible.

Egg Craft Spitfire Mk VB

Built by Margaret Hunt this crazy little kit has come out really well. Modelling is all about having fun and this Spitfire serves it up in spades.

Focke Wulf Fw 190A

This 1:48 scale Focke Wulf Fw 109A was built by James Cann. It was a brave move to take on such a difficult camouflage pattern but the result is well worth the effort. You can see more of James' builds on the LPJ Models YouTube channel.

Focke Wulf Ta 183

This compact 'what-if!' Luftwaffe fighter in 1:72 scale is by Barrie Smith and features the camouflage colours used by the Luftwaffe at the end of the war.

Fokker Eindecker E.ii

This beautiful 1:32 scale Wingnut Wings Fokker Eindecker E.ii  as flown in the First World War by "Max Immelmann" was modelled by James Cann.

Fokker Eindecker E.ii

1:144 Aircraft

These 1:144 aircraft modelled by John Blackett are finished to an incredible standard. The lozenge pattern decals on the two Fokker D VIIs are perfectly applied.

Folland Gnats

Both of these 1:72 Gnats are from Gerald Hill but many years apart. The first is carved in wood from plans. The second a modern kit from Airfix.

Grumman A-6 Intruder

A real show stopper from Andy Yeo. This amazing 1:32 scale Grumman A-6 Intruder always draws a crowd whenever it is exhibited.

Hawker Hurricane Mk I

Modelled in 1/72 scale by James Cann this 'Arma Hobby' Battle of Britain Hawker Hurricane Mk I was flown by the RAF Polish Squadron.

Horten Night Fighter

This 1:72 scale two seater night fighter conversion is by Barrie Smith. Just a paper concept this flying wing would have been an incredible aircraft to see flying.

Horten With Tailfin

Another of Barrie Smith's 1:72 scale Horten conversions. This time with a vertical tail. As always finished to a high standard.

Junkers Ju 88 A-4

This 1:48 scale Junkers Ju 88 A-4 from Barrie Smith has been superbly finished in the classic RLM 70/71 Splinter camouflage scheme and features wonderfully subtle colour modulation.

McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 'Hornet'

Andy Yeo has recreated this McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 'Hornet' to an incdedible standard in his favourite scale 1:32. The level of detail is astounding on this amazing model.

Messerschmitt Bf 109E

A very unusual colour scheme for this 1:48 scale Messerschmitt Bf 109E from James Cann. You can see more on this build on James' YouTube channel. His three part series details the build, painting and finishing on this Eastern Front classic.

Messerschmitt Bf 109G-2

Expertly finished by James Cann this 1/48 scale Bf 109G-2 in 1/48 scale by Eduard is in Finnish airforce markings.

Messerschmitt Bf 109G-10/R3

Another Bf 109 from James Cann. This time late war Bf 109G-10/R3 featuring a complex camouflage scheme with lots of subtle mottling and washes.

Messerschmitt Bf 110G-4

Built by Barry Smith this 1:48 scale Messerschmitt Bf110G-4 has not only been expertly sprayed with the difficult to achieve Luftwaffe scribble pattern camouflage but has been weathered perfectly to reflect an aircraft in service of the period.

Kawasaki Ki-61

This colourful 1:48 scale Kawasaki K-61made by James Cann. The incredible green camouflage mottling is sprayed by hand.

Lancaster B Mk I Special

Built by Gerald Hill in 1:72 scale this is Guy Gibson's famous Lancaster from 'Operation Chastise' the famous raid on the German dams and the creation of the legendary  'Dambusters'.

R-100 Airship

This wonderful card model of the R-100 airship was built by John Blackett. It's only support is the mooring tower. A terrific model recreating this 'lighter than air' craft perfectly.

USAF P-47 'Thunderbolts'

John Hunt’s journey into the world of the ‘Thunderbolt’ has certainly borne fruit. These USAF 1/72 scale models are beautifully finished.

RAF P-47 'Thunderbolts'

John Hunt's P-47 'Thunderbolt' story continues with theP-47 in RAF service. Again an excellent level of finish from John.

Republic F-84F 'Thunderstreak'

Concluding John Hunt's 'Thunder' theme, for now, is his 1/72 Luftwaffe  'Thunderstreak' again beautifully finished.
